Dr. Spitzer is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Clinical Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery, and Co-director of the Joint Replacement Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles, CA.

He completed the Harvard Surgical Leadership Program, publishes and lectures regularly, is a reviewer for many Orthopaedic Journals, and is passionate about the nonoperative management of osteoarthritis of the hip and knee.
